Nathan B. Nelson is a retired USAF intelligence officer who currently resides in Santa Rosa Beach, FL with his wife Jennifer and two children, Eva and Silas

During his time in the Air Force while on his third deployment to Afghanistan he suffered a catastrophic injury from indirect fire that left him paralyzed. Since his medical retirement he served as the Director of Military Affairs for the 1st Congressional district of Florida where he was responsible for advising the Congressman on issues involving the five major military installations in the district. Since then he has consulted for defense related nonprofit organizations.

 

Nathan has a passion for serving veterans, and actively supports nonprofit organizations and efforts that target this community and officially serves in an advisory role for several. Since 2016, Nathan has spoken in front audiences large and small across the nation, from veteran, churches, corporate, and community related.

Nathan uses his experience in the military and overcoming a catastrophic injury to share important, actionable lessons about life. 

His powerful, emotionally moving story draws listeners to evaluate elements of their lives to change for the better and inspires them to shift perspective leading to improved quality of life
